Examination and Promotion Rules
Our school follows a structured and comprehensive assessment pattern to track students' academic progress effectively. Our evaluation process is designed to ensure holistic development while maintaining academic excellence.
Assessment Structure
Examinations & Evaluations:
- Pre-1st Term, 1st Term, Pre-2nd Term, and 2nd Term assessments to monitor student performance.
- Marks distribution includes activities, projects, practical assessments, and viva examinations.
Pre-Beginners Evaluation:
- No formal examinations for Pre-Beginners; progress is recorded through individual academic portfolios focusing on skills and interests for a stress-free learning experience.
Student Progress Tracking & Reports:
- Each student’s progress is documented in individual portfolios for effective monitoring.
- Parents receive detailed report cards with graphical presentations showcasing academic performance.
Parent-Teacher Interactions:
- Four PTMs (Parent-Teacher Meetings) per year to facilitate meaningful discussions about student development.
Personalized Learning Approach:
- We set individualized academic goals considering family expectations, student interests, and abilities.
- Special action plans are designed for students with specific learning needs.
Promotion Criteria
- Minimum 75% attendance is mandatory as per school guidelines.
- A student must secure at least 35% marks in aggregate and in each subject individually to qualify for promotion.
